Bushfire Advice THREAT IS REDUCED - MILLSTREAM CHICHESTER NATIONAL PARK



The following alert has been issued by
the Parks and Wildlife Service at the Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions.

Please note alert level downgraded to THREAT IS REDUCED as fire is now extinguished.

Bushfire Advice - THREAT IS REDUCED - MILLSTREAM CHICHESTER NATIONAL PARK

A Bushfire Advice is in place for people in an area south of the Python Pool turnoff at the T junction of the Red Dog Highway in western parts of the MILLSTREAM CHICHESTER NATIONAL PARK in the SHIRE OF ASHBURTON.

  • There is no threat to lives or homes.

WHAT TO DO

  • The threat of the fire has reduced however you should take care in the area.

BUSHFIRE BEHAVIOUR

  • Fire is extinguished.

ROAD CLOSURES AND CONDITIONS

Motorists are asked to avoid the area, reduce speed and drive carefully. Road information may also be available from Main Roads WA by visiting the Main Roads Travel Map , calling 138 138  or by contacting your Local Government Authority.

WHAT FIREFIGHTERS ARE DOING

  • Firefighters are no longer on scene and have left the area safe.

  • Parks and Wildlife Service is managing the fire.
  • The incident was reported at 07:13 AM on 21 October 2025.
  • The cause of the incident is unknown.
