Bushfire Advice - THREAT IS REDUCED - DAMPIER PENINSULA
A Bushfire Advice is in place for people in the Budgarjook and White Gum Park Communities and surrounds in DAMPIER PENINSULA in SHIRE OF BROOME.
- There is no threat to lives or homes.
WHAT TO DO
- The threat of the fire has reduced however you should take care in the area.
- Stay alert for potential dangers such as smoke and fallen trees and power poles.
- If you do not have a plan, make one now on Emergency WA (https://emergency.wa.gov.au/plan) , or in the Emergency WA app (https://emergency.wa.gov.au/app/plan) to stay safe in future emergencies.
BUSHFIRE BEHAVIOUR
- The bushfire is stationary.
- It is not contained or controlled.
ROAD CLOSURES AND CONDITIONS
Roads have not been closed.
Motorists are asked to avoid the area, reduce speed and drive carefully. Road information may also be available from Main Roads WA by visiting the Main Roads Travel Map (https://travelmap.mainroads.wa.gov.au/Home/Map) , calling 138 138 (tel:138138) or by contacting your Local Government Authority.
WHAT FIREFIGHTERS ARE DOING
- Firefighters and local rangers are monitoring the situation.
